The Conditioned

Happy Saturday everyone! I had the pleasure of spending the day with my mom, grandma, aunt and cousin today. As my mom came back to my house to spend some extra time with me we got to talking about life and what we are up to. I shared with my mom how I have decided to pray everyday during Lent for the end of the war in Syria and the Ukraine. Those of us who are fortunate enough to live in first world countries cannot begin to imagine the devastation war causes to a country and its people.

How often are we blind to the poor and the friendless in our own backyards?

With this thought in mind, my mom shared this wonderful video she saw this week. It was moving and it is a reminder that everyone deserves prayer, love, and friendship.

I hope that through watching this short clip, you are as moved as I was. Take today to count your blessings, the things we have, and to perhaps spare a prayer for someone in need, even if you don’t know who it is for, send it up to God and it will find its intended.
